Podcast #14 - 25/12/2006- The Podzone Christmas Special!

A Merry Christmas to all Podzoners! This is Ebenezer Scrooge himself, Dr Nick, writing the blog on Christmas Eve (at least here in the United Kingdom!) The Podzone is of course full of Christmas spirit and cheer!

The Podzone Christmas Special was, quite obviously, recorded in advance, purely for your amusement. It has been a busy week for us all- I have been in the beautiful capital city that is London, I have been given a conditional offer at Oxford University, and we have filmed the Out Of The Zone Video!

Anyway the twenty-seven minutes and thirteen seconds that follow have such amazing features such as the following:-

• The first Hit Test done completely by voice! Incredible. BUT IT'S NOT BUZZCOCKS THE MIND NEVER!
• Why are there no Pagan Podsafe tracks?
• Discussion of Christmas, Santa being shot down, Santa's First Amendment rights and mince pies.
• The Podzone single! All money donated to UNICEF! Or just donate the money to UNICEF yourself.
• A special Christmas Nick's STDs!
• The Beggar's Opera- only minus twelve days to go!
• And some slightly anti-Catholic views from Nick (but there are other religions to have a go at available!)

Podcast #13 - 20/12/2006

Hello all, it's been a long time coming but we've been very busy with the next OOTZ Video (OOTZ 30), which funnily enough wasn't mentioned in this here Podzone for the 20th of December 2006 - Like how I did that there?

Anyway back to the point at hand. You are about to embark on the fantastic downloading experience that is The Podzone, this weeks podcast includes the (in)famous Sam Deacon (Kristina didn't know that she he was coming) and lots of other fascinating and wonderful events that I won't divulge too much information about simply because I can't be bothered.

So on that note I, Dr Nick Cooper Mr Chris Leydon on behalf of the great power that is Dr Nick's ego, would like to present the wonder that is The Podzone!!!

Podcast #12 - 06/12/2006

Good day, Podzoners across the world! This is the faithful Dr Nick wishing you a Happy New Month... well, it is December, isn't it! The Podzone continued in my absence on Wednesday 6th December, 2006- something which is totally constitutional. Youthcomm really missed me- in fact, I heard they held a celebration in my absence... wait a minute.....

Anyway, the wonderful Chris Leydon coped without me, and provided you all with almost a whole hour of content and fun! The show was more constitutional than the 2000 American Presidential election, and contained content that vaguely resembled the following:-

• Nick's STDs! Live from Hereford railway station. Where I WASN'T fired.
• The spots not being... spot-on. But hey ho, Chris dealt with it!
• Incest insinuations. (The Podzone neither condemns nor condones incest.)
• Chris not promoting companies such as iTunes.
• The rules of The Crucial Three.
• The Infamous Michael Jackson (and Dave Tyrrell loves Jacko!)
• Big Seeing Scarlet news!
• And all the features you love to enjoy such as Tech News, Traffic News (albeit on the spot), The Podsafe Music Chart, The Crucial Three (without Nick- what a shame...), The Hit Test, and The Money are In!

Podcast #11 - 29/11/2006

Good evening, my darlings. This is your regular... special friend, Dr Nick! The Podzone, as I'm sure you expected, came back to haunt us all on the 29th November in 2006. Youthcomm Radio was privileged to have it.

As per usual, there were some really interesting features. You may just want to listen to it, because it sounds better than a bugle-player playing a trombone made from paper. Anyway, you will be able to hear:-

• It's Constitution Day! The Podzone's new Constitution is launched. N.B. I shall be putting this up for general release very soon.
• The show introductions, with many people. Including Nick Cooper. And someone else....
• Nick pleading the Fifth. Any American listeners should understand this. Hopefully.
• Information on The Podzone's Christmas Specials!
• Nick's been living Chris Leydon's life- and he doesn't like it.
• Seeing Scarlet news... sort of.
• Ooh ooh ooh OOTZ! Something any OOTZ fan will be interested in. Or fan(s), I should say.
• How can we get Sam Deacon in for Christmas? Find out!
• And all the features that are completely constitutional, such as The Money Are In, The Crucial Three, The Hit Test, Nick's STDs, Tech News, Traffic News (written by the great Dr Nick), and The Podsafe Music Chart!

Well I'm going to have to love you and leave you, as I won't be on the show next week (don't all boo at once...) I shall be in Cardiff, whose STD code is 029, whereas Coventry uses 024. Sorry for that little mistake. I also doubt I'll be on the week after. And then it's the two recorded shows.
